NBDA and QBP Unite to Bolster Retailer Success and Profitability
In today’s competitive retail landscape, it is more important than ever for specialty bicycle retailers to understand key performance indicators (KPIs), manage operational efficiency, and have access to peer support. To meet these needs, the National Bicycle Dealers Association (NBDA) and Quality Bicycle Products (QBP) are proud to announce a supporting partnership to strengthen and expand the NBDA P2 Program, a premier initiative designed to help retailers increase profitability and thrive in the marketplace.
QBP Supports the NBDA P2 Program: Investing in Retailer Success
QBP, a longstanding supporter of the NBDA and the P2 Program, is committed to the long-term success of independent bicycle retailers. Recognizing the many challenges faced by shop owners—from inventory management to service department optimization and staff training—QBP is supporting the NBDA to ensure retailers have the tools they need to succeed. The NBDA P2 Program provides a structured environment for retailers to improve operational efficiency, track KPIs, increase net profits, and grow their businesses.
“Participation in the NBDA P2 Program is an important step forward in helping retailers not only survive but thrive,” said Heather Mason, NBDA President. “We applaud QBP for their commitment to promoting the long-term sustainability of specialty bicycle retailers and supporting the P2 Program’s expansion.”
Empowerment through Education: NBDA and QBP’s 2025 Super Seminars
As part of QBP’s support, they will team up with the NBDA to host four “super seminars” throughout 2025, exclusively for P2 Program members. These seminars will offer valuable training and resources to help retailers improve their operations and increase their profitability.
2025 Super Seminar Dates:
- February 7th, 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM EST
- June 6th, 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM EST
- September 5th, 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM EST
- November 7th, 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM EST
The seminars will provide insights into best practices for inventory management, service department optimization, staff training, and more.
Driving Retailer Success and Expanding the Network
With QBP’s backing, the NBDA P2 Program will expand to welcome new retailers into a community that values collaboration and continuous improvement. The P2 Program has a proven track record of success, with 100% of current members reporting increased net profits, improved marketing strategies, and enhanced service department performance.
When asked about the NBDA P2 Program, Todd Cravens, QBP’s VP of Business Development commented, “NBDA P2 Groups might be the best way a bike retailer can invest time and money into their business with a demonstrably positive ROI.”
