NBDA Member Call Out: Bearings Bike Works

At Bearings Bike Works, we believe bikes can change lives. Through our youth programs and community bike shop, we create opportunities for young people in Southwest Atlanta to build confidence, develop new skills, and form meaningful relationships. Every bike we fix or sell helps fuel these programs—combining cycling, community, and career-building in a thriving social enterprise where everyone belongs.

By the end of the year, we’ll be expanding our impact with the opening of a new bike shop on the Atlanta Beltline. This new space will not only serve riders of all kinds, but also provide even more hands-on training and job skills for the youth in our programs. Together with our community of supporters, we’re building something bigger than bikes: we’re creating pathways for young people to grow, explore, and thrive on and off the bike.
