Bicycle Passion and Covid 19 got us here, what do we do now?  Cyclesmith opened in 1986, and had “regular” growth for many years. We then doubled our sales during Covid, could do no wrong, then reality set in and like many others in the bike industry, we saw margins and sales slump, and expenses go up.  Making the numbers work for Cyclesmith is what our passion is now, and it is working.

The journey strips away the layers to discover and understand where, why, and within whom the Flandrien spirit lives. Along the way, the treasures, triumphs, and tragedies of Flanders are revealed. Flandrien shares insights from some of the cycling greats of Belgium and around the world who devoted their lives to a sport so ingrained in the culture it is inextricable. Directed by Paul Willerton and produced by Shane Cooper (Adventures of the Graveled High Rouleur, 2015, The Bottle Runner, 2017).
